True Instructors

Anyone can copy a move, but you can only use it and teach it if you truly understand it. An imitator may be able to mimic a Savate kick, but, they cannot apply it out of Serrada. They may be able to copy a Kino Mutai technique, but cannot use it during a JiuJitsu hold.

If you lack the understanding, the depth rather than the breadth of technique, then you can imitate a move, but never duplicate it.

Always look for instructors that actually train the material, that continue to learn and improve.
One seminar weekend does not a Master make.
Seek out the instructors that work the material regularly so that you can be sure to always have information that is current, accurate, and useful.

Don't know what art is right for you?

We want to help you find what you are looking for. And, if we are not the right fit, our vast network of sister schools assures that we can refer you to the place the is just right for your needs.

Always remember, any instructor that is unwilling to let you explore your possibilities likely has only his bottom line in mind, not your growth as a person or as a Martial Artist.
